Manish Malhotra’s Collection was based on gender equality. The collection had a lot of detailed ornate embroidery unlike his signature style of red and blacks he used a lot of pastels. Georgette s, organza and net with beautiful floral embroidery was the centre theme.
The peaches had a lot of gota and gold and copper embroidery seen.

She is known for her young and quirky prints and vibrant colors. Her collection had toffee, candy and Ice-cream candy prints in hues like candy pinks, oranges, yellows and blues.



DHRUV KAPOOR DRVV

Bold and manly with hues of grays and blacks with a lot of formal cuts and showcasing the strength of women was what DRVV all about. Blazers, trousers,body-con dress all in dark shades were on the ramp.


RELIANCE FOOTPRINT – SILEX

The collection was a cherry floral inspired theme which had soft  feminine pastel grays, peaches, pinks and blues. The silhouettes ranged from long maxis,skirts, over coats, summery dresses, tanks, shirts and more putting forward a very cool vibe to the summer.


KRISNA MEHTA 

Her collection consisted a lot of floral embroidery of Phool-Patti with a lot of reference to the Kashmiri embroideries. The second range consisted of south Indian Checks on Cotton Silks with a range of dark hues like navy’s and maroons and grays. The Third collection had a vibrant Range of Pinks, purples, oranges, and ocher. These were in the pure silks with block print ranges having a vibrant color range.




















KARISHMA SHAHANI [KA][SHA]

Ka-Sha’s range was all of  Indigo story with a lot of tie & die and Ikkats. The cotton fabrics are the best coolant for the hot summers. The Whites and the dull blues made it look summer friendly. 


HUEMEN
The collection had a range of Vibrant Pinks and some Monochrome Florals with satins and cotton mixes had a very wearable feel to the whole look. 














FROU FROU by ARCHNA RAO

Her collection saw a mix of vintage colours combining with whites and peaches. The main silhouettes were maxis in all forms of chiffon, organza, viscose and more.















ILK at LFW

ILK’s Collection was a mix of pastel florals and monochrome florals. The silhouettes were loose flowy and sheer with boxy sleeves and midi dress, jacket and skirts made the rounds with the pastels. 
Looking at the monochrome range there were a lot of surface embellishments like quilting and a lot of flowers pouring over with gave a delicate touch to the collection 
SURENDRI by YOGESH CHAUDARI
His collection had a mix of Pastels, whites and Blacks. The sarees, lehengas, suits and pallazo pants contained a lot of detailed embroidery work with some brocades here and there. The collection was beautiful ethic wear range.


GEN NEXT by INIFD

The young and talented GEN NEXT designers from INIFD showcased their talents on the Lakme fashion week ramp with great zest! Their inspiration ranged from Pablo Picasso to white satin linens.
There was a lot of whites which did the rounds!
